	Chief Monger: Magister Pips (Matthew Baskey) Matthew comes from an extensive background in IT stretching back to the early days Programming the Apple II in BASIC. When the internet became more widely available using a modem over the telephone, he got online in 1994 and was soon helping others to get online, also learning about PC computer hardware to build custom PCs from components. Eventually it was obvious that the HTTP protocol would dominate the Internet so he self-taught himself how to make websites, being an avid reader in a world were change is constant. By the start of the new millennium he was writing websites for companies involved in the Financial Services industry, which exposed him to the markets. This grew into an interest to write code for automated trading systems. When more retail online brokers became available he found out how economic data affects markets and started using this strategy profitably in 2006. Matthew grew up as an expat living in many different countries and since a young age has been an avid collector of banknotes and coins. This lead to a natural inclination to watch Foreign Exchange rates and time his currency exchanges.
	Head Monger: Douglas M Ragan Doug Ragan joined Profit Mongers in 2010 after spending over a decade trading futures, forex, and the stock market. He got his start with a high-end options trading firm and spent his time doing everything from full service, to forex hedge fund management, to managing the back-end of electronic trading platforms such as Tradestation. This experience allowed his to start investigating different trading strategies. It also gave him great insight into the mechanics of order flow and trading technology. After discovering the benefits of news trading, he took the system and applied it to the futures markets. He is currently working with Profit Mongers to educate traders on the benefits of applying the news trading strategies to the Index and Currency futures markets. He currently lives in Boynton Beach Florida with his wife and daughter.
	Head Monger: Cactus Jack (Jeff Cunningham) Jeff Cunningham, who trades as Cactus Jack, is a veteran trader of many markets. Beginning as a Texas cattle rancher – trading live cattle on the hoof at the blink of an eye – to the volatile days trading stocks, commodities and the world currency market, Cactus Jack also has a background in the oil and gas industry. His education, coupled with life experiences on the ranch and the business world, gives him a unique and valuable insight into these markets. Cactus Jack graduated from Texas Christian University with a degree in Management. He currently resides in Fort Worth, Texas.
